We are at this crap bowl because our players didn't step up, our coaches were out coached, our recruiting is falling behind, and our conference is a joke.

We need to get better, in all those areas.

Can't afford it this year. I made the Big 12 CG in '06, '07, '08, and '10. I made the Fiesta Bowl in '06 and '07. I made the MNC in '08. Wish I could have made the Sun Bowl and Fiesta last year. Would have liked to make the Holiday back in '05 but a Cali trip was too expensive. Although, even if I could afford it this year, I still wouldn't go. It costs too much to go to Phoenix for an Insight Bowl. Might be different if I hadn't been to multiple Fiesta Bowls. I'm getting tired of the desert.

I went through StubHub. Paid 42$ a piece for section 207 (nose bleed) plus 20$ for parking. Total for 3 ppl was ~162$

I partied on Mill Ave, which is ASU's campus corner, last year and had a damn good time. Plus it will be a great escape from this winter weather.

Depending on which route you take, you might drive through winter weather anyway. For the '06 Fiesta, we ran into snow in Flagstaff and slid into and out of Albq...place was iced over. And win the sun went down in Tempe, it got cold as hell. I was glad I took a heavy hoodie and a coat. '07 wasn't as bad, but it gets pretty cool after dark in the desert.

I were lookin on there last night an 50 yard line OU side was around 140

Not sure Ill go but am a thinkin on it .

What could stoop's say that would make you feel better? Or help make your decision in going ?
When at the fiesta bowl against west virginia , osu played in the insight bowl and we bought cheap tickets when we got there. Row 15 30 yard line for like $20 each, that also got us in the new years eve party in Tempe .
We drove the Ou bus to the osu game from where we parked the Rv / the osu people couldn't help but smile.
The N YEve think was fun but pretty cold!

I'll be there with my daughter, bought my air fare last night and tickets from OU. Still up in the air on where to stay and we have done everything fun in Phoenix at least once so will have to find some new things to do.

After sleeping on it overnight, my brother and I decided to go west for the Bowl Game. Last night I was leaning no but we will already be in Denver to celebrate a 2nd Christmas so we will leave there for Phoenix and the Insight Bowl. My brother has never seen the Sooners lose a game in person as he comes up from FL at least once a year for a game and started coming for the Bowl Game at the Sun Bowl.

Nope. I'll be in Bavaria between on Christmas and New Years. Beside, after going to the Boise and WVU Fiesta Bowls, I'm not sure the Sooner Nation would want me there.

The Yard House is a good pre-game for anybody sticking around for the aggie bowl.
