You need "blue collar" guys that work their tails off, and you need 4 and 5 star guys that aren't primadonnas. They're out there. The coach sets the tone, and either allows that type of behavior or doesn't.

As we should have learned from end of the King's reign.

The answer to this question has been painfully obvious for the past few years.

Attitude, work ethic, humilty...I wish they sold it in a can. If would send Bob and the boys a truck full if it.

Sometimes you deserve a puke orange DB throwing a sharkfin in your face.

I don't want a receiver that's too good to fight for a completion.

I think we need as many Okie's as we can get that are decent (2-3 stars and up), then fill the gaps with Texans, and then others after that.

The NFL factory mentality causes things like good WRs to gator arm it over the middle, running out of bounds, etc.

Look no further than our BB team with MCD AAs and without. Give me without.

I've been saying this ^ for years.

Oklahoma HS players will set the tone and outwork the others.
Texas HS players who come to OU will really help in the RRS as they want to show UTerus what they missed out on.
Then a spattering of talent to fill in the gaps.

Seemed to work for Switzer and the early Stoops era.

Count me as someone that thinks we need more Oklahoma HS players on the team; i was shocked when i saw the starting lineup in the paper and there were like 4 Okies on there(6 if you figured Ronnell and Ryan would have started); what happened to the days when we had Okies at all positions?

"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard."

Seems the lesson is fading.
