Ya it would mean Houston wouldn't make it.

Replace them with TCU, move on.

Would mess more with the BCS if Houston won, wouldn't it?

No way TCU gets added. It would mean that some bowl gets to take a team from a BCS conference instead of being forced to take a smaller school. Unless there's some rule that I don't know about.

my favorite quote from the announcer during the first half, "Looks like Houston has their daubers in the dirt". Guess Sumlin should have taken one of those jobs, he could have blamed this game on the distraction. Wonder if his stock will go down in all the head coaching openings?

Yea boy, this will simply put in a Big 6 conf team into the BCS. Stoolwater could get a bid in a close loss..

TCU would have to move up to 16th to even be considered, which is a zero chance.

IMO, Michigan is already in. So this will open up a spot for the likes of KSU, OSU when they lose to OU, VaTech is they lost...

Yeah? They are currently #18. #13 Mich. State and #15 Wisconsin play each other. #14 Georgia plays LSU today. #17 Baylor is playing Texas. I'd say the chance is a little better than zero at moving up 2 spots.

Bummer for Sumlin; I was hoping for a Houston win.

Why do they keep focusing in on that same brunette in the stands? Have all the other Houston fans left already?

Oh, they'll move up, but there is no BCS bowl that is taking a 2 loss 16th rank TCU team. I just do not see that happening.

If they get to 16, this year they'll be an AQ and they MUST be selected.

You know what, I stand corrected..

3. The champion of Conference USA, the Mid-American Conference, the Mountain West Conference, the Sun Belt Conference, or the Western Athletic Conference will earn an automatic berth in a BCS bowl game if either:

A. Such team is ranked in the top 12 of the final BCS Standings, or,
B. Such team is ranked in the top 16 of the final BCS Standings and its ranking in the final BCS Standings is higher than that of a champion of a conference that has an annual automatic berth in one of the BCS bowls.

TCU will be ranked higher than the Big East champion.

Yea no doubt. I pride myself in trying to know all the rules, but it's to the point it's ridicolous..lol

I'd say, TCU vs Michigan in Sugar Bowl then...of course GA could screw that up as well..

Yup, as it stands now, it looks like the Big 12 will have at least three teams coming of a BCS bowl appearance.

Like a rented mule. BWAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH........

I went to the Tulsa-Houston game last weekend. Freakin' Houston fans reminded me of K-State fans. Totally obnoxious, chanting **** throughout the game. 4th quarter it was "BCS! BCS!!" Well I got their BCS right here. So. Miss just shoved a tentpole up that. And I could not be happier.
