Since no one is apparently watching the game, consider this. Assume that UCLA is 5-7 instead of 6-6, and that they manage to beat Oregon.

Would UCLA be bowl eligible (6 wins, but a losing record) or would the Rose Bowl have to pick an at-large team?

Which would be more awesome: the PAC-12 champion sullying the Rose Bowl with a losing record or the PAC-12 champion being excluded from the Rose Bowl altogether?

Why the hell aren't they playing their CCG at a neutral site?

UCLA is trying to keep it respectable before the inevitable Oregon avalanche in the second half.

The USC/UO game was very good and that would have been the matchup if USC was not on probation. Otherwise, it's like the old Big12 north/south problem.

Who knows but it looks like there are5 times as many fans there than a normal Big 12 championship game.

U Claw making it respectable. 24-35 quacks. 12 minutes left in the 3rd.

I wonder how many coaches have been given their walking papers, then go win a CCG, and give 'em the middle finger as you drive off campus.

Don't get why U Claw is dumping the Weasel. It's a mistake IMO.

UCLA really doesn't look THAT bad tonight. Definitely not an elite team, but not really bad enough to seem like Slick Rick should get fired. Don't know how they've looked at other points in the season (besides the USC highlights I saw).

This was 4th year and Rick has been promising to get UCLA up to the USC level and it hasn't been close. He has recruited pretty well and analysts I've seen all say they have unperformed relative to the talent. They started this year playing really poorly, so they were better than the 6-6 record would indicate, but not by much.
