For those of you in Stoolwater, do you realize that means if you beat the Sooners 66 years in a row, You still will not lead in the series? Most people around here wont even be alive if that were to happen!

Neither did the 19 years Pat Jones had to explain how the hell it got out of control for them. I always looked forward to his post Game Rants. I'd pay Money for a 19 Game Post Game DVD collection of those interviews. He was classic. Hell he's classic to this day.

Why is OSU considered a rival when they have only won 16 games against 82 wins and 7 ties? That is not a rivalry -- that is so one-sided that it is laughable to consider it a rivalry. Maybe the idiots that asked the questions today at the Stoops press conference need to get a clue.

So if we look back the number of osu wins might actually be less than 16?

Did osu ever win a bedlam game when Hart Lee Dykes was there? I've always found it funny that osu's punishment for those 40 violations was no bowl games for three years (like they would have gone to one anyway) and no TV for two years (like they were ever on TV anyway).

And only a loser would claim a victory for a forfeited game. The result on the field of play was a loss. Assuming we don't deserve credit for the win, it is also true that they don't deserve credit for it.

Trust me if they beat OU this saturday, none of their fans and very few of ours will give a hoot about that stat.

I'd much rather be within 20 of my rival vs being down 60+

As you know Texas is dead even from the 50s to now practically. The really made hey against us in the early days of football....we only one 1 of the first 10. Those games count though, so we're down. I can handle that.

With OSU its never been competitive...They've never beaten us THREE TIMES IN A ROW.

My favorite Pat Jones quote: "well, frankly, we're just not good enough to beat these people."

And I love how he started scheduling Hawaii at the end of the season because he knew they likely wouldn't make it to a bowl, and he wanted his guys to at least have one fun destination.
