View Full Version : I hate Craig James worse than Texas or OSU combined.....

Did anyone watch the BCS show Sunday night?

He was very proud to announce the 3rd place team on his ballot - the Arkansas Razorbacks. His reasoning was that they only lost to the top two teams in the country.

Nevermind that they got absolutely annihilated to the tune of:

79-31

The same team that slid by a 6-6 A&M team 42-38. (That's SEC D for you)

This is why things need to change. ESPN and their 4 or 5 talking heads (including idiot James) have way too much power and are SEC drunk.

Yeah, but you think our coaches oughta be fired too, so there goes your credibility...

By that logic, Tulsa should be just behind us. After all, they only lost to us, OSU, BSU and Houston. All top 10 teams.

Why go there? Why!? ;)

Not to mention that they only beat Troy by 10 and had to come back to beat Vandy and Ole Miss, two of the worst teams in the league.

Honestly, I'm surprised every week when he doesn't have SMU either #1 or the next team to join the SEC.

Not exactly. I just think this staff has more Schembechler in it than Switzer.

Don't look now, but CJ has OU ranked:

SEVENTEENTH

I hate him too, but he did NOT kill 5 hookers while at SMU.

How does he have an AP vote? DId you check out his latest vote? Filled with inconsistencies. Arkansas at #3, 11-1 Stanford that beat 9-2 USC ranked below the latter. Also we're like 8 or 9 spots below KSU, a team we raped on their own turf. Not to mention Boise St. (24th) ranked several spots lower than Georgia.

Based on our injuries, and the potential for our defense to be exploited, I can't bring myself to be too upset by that ranking. If he's wrong, it's probably not by much.

Switzer had the luxury of no scholly limits. That's why you see powerhouses get an occasional upset from Boise and such these days.
Just sayin'.

Nyah Nyah Craigie, Leach is back in college football and viewer's disdain for you is eventually going to push you out :D

I don't care about how james craig votes, but the fact that he's still at espn after using that organization to carry out a personal vendetta says a lot about espn.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I like Craig James in an odd sort of way. He reminds me of that loud, obnoxious uncle that shows up at the family gatherings. The one that everyone rolls there eyes up at but makes them laugh at the same time because he's completely oblivious the fact he's such a gasbag.

I refuse to listen to CJ or his sycophantic play-by-play whore, Mike Patrick. If I am interested in a game they are broadcasting, I mute the sound. Seriously. Neither has any credibility, and it's a disgrace that ESPN has kept them together and not punished either one for theoir gross lack of professionalism. CJ was involved in the story, so you can understand his bias, but he should have bowed out. Patrick, on the other hand, threw objectivity to the 4 winds and bent over backwards to kiss CJ's butt and slam Leach. His guilt is much worse.

Lucky for you the two haven't worked together for a few years now.

They just did a game a few days ago. I forgot which one and they're calling this C-USA championship game coming up.

Really!? I could have sworn I heard them together the other night (just before I hit "mute") I know I heard James, but I thought I heard Patrick as well. And "a few" years? Didn't the **** hit the fan only 2 years ago? Methinks thou art mistaken, sir.

Of course, either one gets muted, no matter who he's with.

ADDED: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESPN_College_Football_broadcast_teams note that James and Patrick are teamed up for 2011 (That's this very year, iirc.)
