I saw this story on the news, and got like really, totally confused:

Its about these people that say they are really special because they are descendants of the Mayflower people. I thought everyone in America was a Mayflower descendant, like Adam and Eve. And I know Adam and Eve were not actually on the Mayflower, they were on the Ark, I'm not stupid.

I was watching Ancient Aliens on the History Channel and they said that the pilgrims were really aliens. also, there is no mention of stuffing before 1621 and then, all of the sudden, there was stuffing! Natural culinary evolution, or alien intervention?

Some of you may be, but some of my ancestors met the boats, while others didn't arrive until the 19th century.

So the Mayflower was the only boat to bring immigrants? Good to know. There musta been a few brothers stowed away.

I think I understand better now, I just found out that some of the first Americans came over on other boats; the Pinto, El-Nino, and the Queen Mary. So I guess maybe the Mayflower was the first one to get there.

I come from a small band of traveling vikings. We're all pretty pissed about this whole Plymouth Rock thing anyway.

The wife and I went to Plymouth, Ma. for the weekend last month and saw the Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower replica, all the ghost tours. I thought the pumpkin beer was the highlight of the trip.

I tend to think beer is the highlight of most trips. But, that's just me.
