View Full Version : Travis Lewis is the most overrated MLB in college football

You want to say that he's injured and not 100%, thats fine but he's not that good. He plays himself off as this "all world" MLB. How many times did he get his name called this entire season? I havent seen jack from him.

the only thing he's remotely good at is rushing the passer. When it comes to covering the field or stopping the run he's a very mediocre guy who cant cover streaking tight ends or find the right gaps to penetrate to blow up run plays.

Tom Wort is better than Travis Lewis; I've at least seen him make a few plays out there.

Wort is not better than Lewis, but agree that Travis is overrated. His coverage abilities have always sucked. Wort's are even worse. Not sure that any LB in the BXII can cover though in this pass happy league.

The safety position is where we are really lacking. Our safety play has been consistently poor all season.

Over rated at covering slots? Yes. Wort better than TL? Just stop typing and watch some film on Wort first. He is a whole lot more over rated.

At least Wort has blown up a few running plays. When's the last time Travis Lewis slashed thru the gaps and stuffed somebody in the backfield? I havent seen that all season.

The only time I've seen Lewis make a play is when he blitzes the QB.

Corey Nelson, meanwhile, is a tad underrated I think. I look forward to seeing that guy develop. I also can't wait to see Eric Striker (OLB recruit) get here in the fall, but not because I know anything about him. With a name like that, he must be awesome.

Thank god...I thought this thread was about OUr Travis Lewis....but you said Middle Linebacker...so you can't be talking about OUr Travis Lewis since he is the Weak Side Linebacker.

Not a big fan of calling out players personally....

I've never seen Travis Lewis refer to himself as all world anything anyway...he's got swagger and he's a good player. Not great, but good.
