I would really love to ask Bob Stoops - seriously, for the last 9 years OU has been prone to the long plays. Every year OU has a top 5 recruiting class and Stoops raves about the D before and sometimes during the season and yet they always give up these long plays and lots of yards. So - is it the players or the coaching? The one constant is the coaching, players always change but it always happens. So are the players overrated and shouldn't be recruited or is it the coaching? It has to be on or the other

1st, I'd say...we don't have a top 5 class every year....top 15 yes...I know there were some #12 or #13 yrs I thought...

2nd...we lose kids every yr...after they sign...maybe show for a yr..maybe not...not sure we've ever had a full class stay for 3 to 4 yrs,,,

3rd, we leave guys in because they are Sr...even though they just have up 2 BIG plays..(Harris)...
