The only good thing is we were able to get Baylor to waste their final timeout, but that was flat out dumb going for that.

Not dumb, it was gutsy, unless they missed it and then that would have been STUPID!

Not dumb at all, considering our D couldn't stop a feather.

Probably the best decision of the night.

Wouldn't have mattered if we made it or not, RG3 still would've driven it right down on our Swiss cheese defense to win it.

Going for it was brilliant. False start...not so brilliant. Calling timeout in Baylor's winning drive...also not brilliant.

Yeah, you don't take baylor to OT tonight. RG3 was gonna score a TD every time he touched the ball the rest of the night period.Only way we couldve won is if we scored that final TD with like 10 seconds left.

It worked all night. Good call. Still can't believe we didn't score a passing TD in this game.

Good call. We certainly didn't want it to come down to a field goal contest. It might have come down to that in the third overtime anyway. Do it then. Win.

I think this is the only game Jones has not passed for a TD.

What is stupid is the spelling and grammar in the thread title...

Agree with poster above that it was a good call not dumb one. Was very gutsy. I like that.

Also agree with another poster above that Baylor would have just driven it down and won anyway. Our D was about the worst I've seen it since I can recall (going back to the '60s).

Naybe during the Blake years our D was worse, but I've successfully mentally blocked those years from my brain.

It's pretty disheartening to watch us take minutes to get down the field, struggling for ever yard due to dropped balls, bad decisions on plays, hard 3rd downs, etc. just to watch the other team throw for three or four plays and score. That last drive by Baylor never should have happened. Timeout aside, three plays and they scored, in seconds on our defense.

Last one was Nebraska in 09 I think. The one wear Suh broke half our o-line and threw the others like rag dolls.

We don’t know anything for certain that would have happened in the final 46 seconds. We DO KNOW with certainty that each team would get alternating shots from the Bell zone until one team outscores the other. I hope the media asks Bob what his plan was when he called that stupid timeout. I was trying to win the game is NOT an answer. My friends in Louisiana just named him SFBB (Sh*t for Brains Bob).
