Always Coach Stoops' first three words uttered at his weekly press conference. Question, who is this Michael guy? I would assume he is some press person, but what is his official role?

He won't start the press conferences till Hunnicutt makes a field goal. It's part of the initiative to put the foot back in football... and to ensure that we won't end up like Boise and Bammer and... us :(

Michael is Michael Dean who is the OU radio football producer. He always does the intro for Bob for the press conference and that is why Bob says thank you Michael. Michael is also the PR director for the Oklahoma Historical Society.

When you listen to the presser (starts at noon) on KREF 1400, you'll hear 'Michael' do his schpiel.... for which he is promptly thanked by Stoops as he begins.
