Long story short, I'm looking for an indoor/outdoor wireless thermometer. I need one that has a pretty good range from the outdoor sensor (maybe 200ft+). I've looked at a few online, but they don't have the range indicated.
Anyone have a good suggestion?

Why do you need that distance?

It's for my (elderly) mom. She lives in a townhouse, and the closest place I can put the sensor is about 150ft from where she'll keep the monitor.

Stick a thermometer to the outside of her easiest accessed window. YWIA

Dude...she can barely see the numbers on her gigantic numbered phone. I'm not a complete moron (just mostly)...I did think of that.

Go to the various manufacture web pages and they will probably all have expected range...

I bought the lacrosse for my parents 5-6 years ago. Still works, just remember to change the batteries

Just got it on Amazon (not bad, about $28). My mom is a weather nut, although she rarely leaves the house. She'll love i being able to see how cold it is outside (again, she never leaves the house).
