They are the greediest sons of bitches on the planet.

No other sport offers a 50/50 split in profits and that is not good enough!

Why doesn't the NBA Owners say fine...and go with plan b players like the NFL back in the 1990s?


And yes, I know this is not a sooner football issue...just stating it here for more to see it!

I have season tickets and even I don't care wtf they do this year. Too many games anyway. Shorten the season.

I wish the MLB would lockout... Now they have too many damn games! But I'm a die hard Thunder fan and I like cheering for The Blake Show as well. I need the NBA after football season is over.

what is base salary...?...like 500K? that would take me 10 yrs to GROSS...maybe if they INVESTED their money, actually GRADUATED from school so WHEN they quit playing...injury, get cut, too old...they would have $$$ and or know how to actually have a job.

NO pro athlete will ever get sympathy from me...

To the average Joe Fan, those problems are nothing more than annoyances.

The ones with the problems are the players that left school early for the draft. Ouch.

I think a lot of would-be one and dones stayed because of the looming lockout.

It seems that players are not so much worried about revenue split as they are they worried about giving up lots of money that they used to be guaranteed by virtue of the 57 percent revenue split.

I really wish they'd resolve it. A lot of people out there are losing their NBA-related employment with this lockout... concession, security, office personnel, you name it. There's a lot more people suffering than millionaires and billionaires :(

The fact is the NBA already gave the players 57%. Why should they give 7% up to go to 50/50? Nobody goes to see Clay Bennett's fat arse or Aubrey's premature gray hair.

As far as scabs, I have no interest in supporting them. I may go see more OU b-ball games though.

I do....NBA keeps me going until the summer. Then only three months until more OU football...
