glad Arky stayed behind us. Wow, they could actually win the SEC West LOL

Man... if Arky beats LSU, and we beat the pokes. BCS might blow up.

That's what I started thinking about last night. We want LSU to stay undefeated as I think that gives us the definite inside track for that 2nd spot. If Arky wins, W(ho)TF knows what's going to happen.

Oregon plays and beats an overrated Stanford team and they jump that far?

Okay...Ill give them that. But OU better be able to jump 3 spots if they beat OSU!

Hell, after beating every ranked team so far this year, OU has dropped votes!

Oregon was already ahead of OU. they simply jumped boise and stanford b/c they both lost.

Oregon is no better than Stanford..yeah they beat them, but the only great team that Oregon has really played, they lost too!

Stanford was getting a pass thanks to their preseason ranking and the man love Luck was getting. They played absolutely no one until Oregon.

Oregon is a bottom Tier 1 team...no better than that! They get the luxury of playing in one of the worst BCS AQ conferences!

OU would blast Oregon!

Yeah, and that's my struggle. If you just look at one loss team's out there we fail in comparison to who we lost to and where.. At the end if day that is what is going to kill us ( providing we are a one loss team in the end )

A 23 point loss at home never looks better than a 3 point loss at home...no matter who the opponents are that beat the teams.

Everyone is looking at one game...not the entire body of work.

Yes, OU lost to a pathetic TTU team.

But (if OU wins out) OU has also gotten 5 wins over Top 25 teams on the road (KSU, Texas, FSU, Baylor, and OSU).

All the toughest games for OU have been on the road this year.

I think that is more than enough to cancel out the brainfart loss to Tech.

Which Stanford win looks better than a lot of OU's? USC in OT?

I have to disagree with that one. They proved they were better pretty convincingly last night. That was no fluke.

Well, this will be interesting. Remember, 'Bama's SOS took big hits PSU's & FLA's losses. This is why I think that Oregon passes them, and our gap with them will close with us passing them next week if we beat BU. Meanwhile, 'Bama plays GA Southern.

If I were an unbiased voter, there is no way I would aid in letting OU play for a national title....not after watching Texas Tech play. I know these things happen, but, it is totally inexcuseable.

I agree. If we get into the #2 spot, it will only be because the computers love us (and to the chagrin of the entire voting pool).

The Tech loss is horrendous, and voters will put us behind almost any 1-loss team from the PAC or SEC unless we totally destroy the remainder of our schedule.

I'm interested in how the BCS will shake out on the 7:15 ratings show on ESPN. Does anyone else watch it on mute? I only care about the rankings. I couldn't care less what the ESPN analysts have to say.

Yeah they could at least mention OU as the team who would put Oregon or Bama there by knocking off OSU. You would think the team that knocks off number two and only has one loss might be worth a mention.
