That's to be expected. Oregon is already ahead of us from last week - shouldn't be any surprise.

No way in hell Boise will be ranked ahead of Houston. Boise will fall to the 12-14 range in the polls while Houston will continue to move up.

I want to see what happens if/when OU beats OSU and Arkansas or Georgia beats LSU and there are about a half dozen one loss teams.

If LSU and OU both win out, the rankings will boil down to, "Do we want to see a rematch?"

If we don't have a playoff because the regular season is our playoff, then why should we have a rematch considering that LSU beat Oregon and Alabama either at a neutral site or on the road. We will be high in the computer average, probably #2, so our BCS rank will come down to the Coach's and Harris Polls.

Oregon was already ahead of us in the human polls.

The Computers, OU will likely move further up with KSU, FSU, Tulsa, and Missouri winning.

Look for OU being #3 or #4 in computers. And Oregon being #5 or #6.

This will make it very possible that OU is #4 not #5.

Maybe, just took a peek at Sagarin and he has us ranked 6th behind Arkansas.

Saragin is SEC heavy...always has been.

We were #6 in that ranking last week. He had Arkansas #4. He has Oregon #7

So OU stayed the same in his rankings with a bye week. Arkansas Slipped, and Oregon gained.

No surprise at all!

Last week in the computers: OU was #5 in average.
Anderson & Hester: 6
Richard Billingsley: 4
Colley Matrix: 3
Ken Massey: 4
Jeff Sagarin: 6
Peter Wolfe: 5

Oregon last week was #7 in average:
Anderson & Hester: 10
Richard Billingsley: 7
Colley Matrix: 8
Ken Massey: 11
Jeff Sagarin: 7
Peter Wolfe: 7

Arkansas was #6 in average last week:
Anderson & Hester: 7
Richard Billingsley: 8
Colley Matrix: 10
Ken Massey: 5
Jeff Sagarin: 4
Peter Wolfe: 6

Last night Miss St had a drive down the field passing the ball. While MissSt was nept most of the game, it showed some real vulnerability in Bama's D against the pass.

Forget their Arky game a month ago. Arky would prolly do much better if they played again.

A BigXII passing team would score enough to win. Bama's offense is flaccid.
