Which game are you planning to watch?

Oregon/Stanford (ABC - 7:00 ct)
Okie State/Texas Tech (ABC - 11:00 ct)
Nebraska/Penn State (ESPN - 11:00 ct)
TCU/Boise State (Versus - 2:30 ct)
Auburn/Georgia (CBS - 2:30 ct)
Alabama/Mississippi State (ESPN - 6:45 ct)

I'm probably going to try to catch the Okie State game early (although the Nebraska/Penn State game may be interesting) and then hit the Oregon/Stanford game late. No Sooner game to look forward to.

I'll take that Penn State game, its historic. Hope its one of those "white out" things in their stadium. Fitting someone classic like Nebraska should be there.

Get em Huskers. Its only right.

That's my plan too, but since the gf knows the Sooners don't play this weekend, I'll be expected to do stuff*.

*Not cool, manly stuff either.

I'll be watching Oregon/Stanford myself and otherwise working. Nebraska at PSU is going to be a massacre. I hope Pelini tells the guys to just get on the bus after the game without setting foot in the shower.

My son and I are leaving for the deer camp in the morning. We are both playing hooky tomorrow, but he is only in Kindergarten and I figure he can miss one day of making hand turkeys.

We will be hunting all weekend long, but may catch the Oregon/Stanford game Sat. night.

She's actually pretty cool about my football watching. She even knows that Sooner games trump anything else.

Why do you fellas still insist on dating/marrying non football fans?

Who's up for a drinking game while watching PSU. A shot for every time they say 'Paterno'?

(I'd pass out by the 1st commercial break)

I mistook "I'm a Broncos' fan", for "I'm a football fan". Women up here don't understand the lure of college football!

Bye weeks are a great time to sit back and grab a 30 and some friends and play drinking games. I invented one the other day while watching a game, and if you get 6 people over you will go through 2 30's a game

I got married over 34 years ago, I was 18 she was 16. we didn't know we were fans of anything except each other. Stll that way.

She has no problem with watching or attending OU games, But could really careless about other college football games.

Oregon/Stanford is absolutely essential. I am treating it like a Sooners game this week.

BTW, I also married a woman who doesn't like sports much at all, with the notable exception of Syracuse BBALL. Women in NY just don't seem to get it either.

Yes.

lol

I got spoiled last week watching football. I was at the sports book at The Mirage. There were six big screens in front of me, but I was only watching the pukes/cats, lsu/bama, and arkie/s.carolina. All three were great games. Add in the fact that there was a gal bringing me free beer and you can see why it was pretty close to Nirvana.

Oh yeah, plus the fact that I had cash in my pocket from the no brainer second half bet the boys won for me over aTm. I should of bet more! lol
