This is not a scam! FUN way to help and make a $50.00!
I recently acquired a 1998 and '99 Oklahoma Sooners Away jersey. It happens to be #22, the same number worn by Quentin Griffin. Here’s the problem, in 1998 and 1999 the Sooners wore the same style of jersey sporting the Big XII pennant logo on the left-side chest. In 1989, Running back, Reggie Skinner wore #22 before switching to #24 in ’99. In 1999, Quentin Griffin wore #22 and continued to do so throughout his career as a Sooner.
Confused yet? Don’t be, now it gets easy…
Here’s what I’m asking for... I’m looking for a picture of Quentin Griffin from the 1999 season. Griffin only played in two away games following the De’mond Parker injury. The Independence Bowl against Ole’ Miss is ruled out.
November 13, 1999 – Ames, Iowa against Iowa State
November 20, 1999 – Lubbock, Texas against Texas Tech
Find a high quality, high resolution picture of Quentin Griffin from the two games mentioned above, if the picture confirms the jersey was worn by Griffin, or, if the picture indicates that the jersey was not worn by Griffin – YOU GET $50.00!
Places to look for pictures –
Publications like Sooners Illustrated, Sooner Spectator, Programs, Media Guides, etc.
Places not to look –
Getty, Google, etc…they’ve already been ruled out, no matches.
Hint: See Picture – Registered Trademark stamp is visible after the word “OKLAHOMA”. Some away jerseys had the trademark logo in ’98 and ’99 – some did not. This jersey has the trademark, find a clear picture without photo-shopping it and the money is yours.

As you can see by the cover photo of Griffin following the Iowa State game - It looks pretty good, but I need more proof. There appears to be a small blood stain under the letter H, it might help. PICTURES MUST BE OF QUENTIN GRIFFIN FROM THE 1999 SEASON ONLY!!!
