can you please move any and all PSU threads to either the General Sports forum or to the South Oval?

This is suppose to be about OU football, not Penn State!

What will happen if that happens:

Random poster: You mean there's no penn state discussion? I'm gonna start one!

(after that one gets moved)

Another dude: There's a new development on Penn State and I don't see a discussion!

(after that one gets moved... or deleted)

Third guy: I HATE THE PENN STATE SITUATION AND I'M GOING TO START A THREAD WITH MY OPINION!

(merge/delete/move later...)

Fourth poster: Penn State needs a discussion here on the OU football forum where all of the posters are, not the general sports forum!

And so on....

I would support a thread quota, but every time I post a new vBookie event I have to start a new thread :)

Speaking of, I need to get the rest of the NFL events up... Packers on MNF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just substitute every "Penn State" with "the team OU beat in the '86 Orangebowl" then it will be OU related.

At this point, the story is new, and is pretty relevant to college football as a whole. As the story wears on, we'll move it to the appropriate location.

In the meantime, I'm sure we'll keep an eye on the new threads and merge them as needed.

I'd like to go back to the night OU beat Penn State, lofting us into ANOTHER National Championship, spend just a few days back then. Hard to believe that 1986 can seem like the good ole days now.

Now who knows were this thread will go.

Little did we know what we were about to go through. I remember switching between the Sugar Bowl (as we needed Tennessee to beat Miami) and the Orange Bowl.

Yes! when Sugar Bowl ended I was jumping all over the place. I was a newlywed (8 months) at the time, and my wife seemed a little startled, despite the fact we met at OU.
