3-1. Loss to K-State.

At a minimum, they have surpassed the 2010 win total.

Even though it happened not of their choosing, Mack has an offense that is perfect to roll through a good part of a Big XII schedule, a power running attack.

While the rest of the conference has spent the last decade trying to implement the spread offense and by default, having to tool a defense to account for everyone else's spread offense, the whorns through losing Gilby have been forced to go back to the basics.

It is almost as if they were the team leaving for the SEC, not a&m.

guess I see possible 4-0 to maybe 2-2...ksu is at home...mu got beat by baylor...a/m and bu...both on road...

I'd say maybe mu and a/m beat them...possibly just a/m...don't see them losing all 4 or even 3.

I wouldn't underestimate the horn defense. It's good enough to give them a chance to win all of those games. 3-1 is the most likely scenario with the 1 loss being aTm. Although aTm has found more ways to crap on itself than a three legged dog on a frozen pond.

I hope they go 3-1 with their only loss to K-State. This can only help our SOS rankings. We already whupped that ***, so they can only help us, at this point. Either way, * sux!

I think they go 2-2, beating MU and BU. Hopefully instead they only beat MU and TAMU, as I'd like to send the two dogs to the SEC with their tails firmly between their legs.

I like our chances of going 4-0. The young pups are catching on. And we get K state at home. Aggy will be a test, but they seem to be going in the total opposite direction we're going.
3-1 at worst.....

What's that in the sky?

Is it a bird, a flying pig, no wait it's a plane with a banner saying "UT beat Tech and should now be ranked higher than OU!"

3-1 with a loss at home to KSU would be best for OU

MIZZOU and Arse-To-Mouth losing to UT would be great. Those two getting the last available bowl slots would be fine with me.

If that happens, is Mack out at Texas?

They could lose all four of the remaining games, finish 6-6 and Mack would still be hailed for engineering a huge turnaround of sa*et's fortune. Seriously, the orange clads think Mack is a genius for bringing in Harsin, who promptly installed a new offense. Well, I guess he did, but it is based on contingency as opposed to what they were trying to make work from spring practice till the UCLA game. The QB that can throw the ball is too slow and too small, so they are dependent upon the RB's and a scrambling QB. Whorn fans are so ecstatic over the turn of events, they credit MB with reinventing their team. Get rid of him? Heck, they are more likely to erect a bronze likeness of him by season's end.

The whorns next four games will go a long way in telling what next year will look like. It suddenly seems like a lot of the media is on a "Texas is back" kick, but don't be fooled. They may have wins over the last two weeks (and yes, one was to TT), but it was just a little over a month ago they were humiliated in Dallas, followed by a home loss to OSU. If wins over KU and TT are impressive to them, then the program fell much further than I thought.

IF they can go 4-0 or 3-1 over the next four games, then I might start to take note. If, as I suspect, they go 2-2 or 1-3, they're the same team we saw in the RRR.

They have a shot at every game. The A&M game will be particularly brutal. I frankly hope they win 'em all, because as someone else noted, it helps us this season.

Honestly, we could win every remaining game or lose them all. I was hoping for 8-4 this season and a bowl win so 2-2 over the next 4 would get us there. I'd be happy with that. Would love to send the aggies out proper like though. And hey, at least we're bowling this year. :eagerness:

Rebuilding year. 8-4 regular season would be good after the last one. Just trying to be realistic. Would like to get the purple kitties off our back too. They've had our number.
