Logo editing help

Can someone edit this image a little bit for me? I wasn't born with image editing powers.

Can you remove the grey background, leaving only the QQC (without the shadow)? Thanks in advance.

Doesnt work. If you make it a white background then you can't see the white lettering on the bottom of the logo without the shadows.

I was planning on removing the words at the bottom.
