A little help please

a "friend" is looking for a good divorce lawyer in the okc area. I've read 50 pages of reviews and am having a hard time figuring out which reviews to believe. Unless a firm has 100+ bad reviews, its hard to decide which reviews are from people who didn't have their case go their way, weather it be thier own fault or the lawyers. All bad reviews blame the lawyer.

That's most online reviews. People only take the time leave reviews when they are unhappy. Good reviews are normally made by the business owner himself. And go ahead and fess up, it's not "for a friend"...

If they don't ask for a sum of money in the four figures up front as a retainer, then keep looking.

And another thing, no matter what else your friend agrees to in the way of settlement, they should insist that both parties pay for their own lawyers. That more than anything will help move the proceedings along.
