Since the beginning of 2008, we are 24-1 at BDS. Grass-eater and Saban are 2-2 against one another. We are giving up less than 7 pts/game. OVERALL, I think LSU has the best and most well-rounded team in the country, but the home field advantage in front of 102,000 screaming(and drunk) fans in the biggest game in possibly the history of our stadium should be enough to give us the win.....In a close one, I see it as

Alabama claims another national championship after the game, loses in the BCS championship, prints national title in media guide. SEC fans claim six national titles in a row.
LSU lobbies to get rematch in the national title game, loses in Sugar Bowl to Boise State. SEC fans still claim Boise State would lose 5-6 games in the SEC every year.

Looking at Alabama's schedule, if they were to lose to LSU and win out, their only "quality" win would be to an overrated Arkansas team, whether it will happen or not, there is a very good case of dropping them below every other one loss team if they were to lose this weekend.

It will be a game of two sh*tty offensives, but when all is done someone will win 7-3...... and ESPN will claim it to be one of the best f*cking games of all time, make it an "Instant Classic" and we will have to see the sh*t for the next 2 months, or until they play each other again in the MNC game..... Sorry for the sarcasm, but I agree with Frozen, I am sick of SEC fans:):):)

Arkansas is #7 in the BCS. Penn State is 8-1 and #16 in the BCS. Those are pretty good wins.

For me this game is difficult to pick. Alabama is the lesser of the two evils in my book.
I'd really like to pick Bama at home, but LSU appears to be the better team.
As much as another home game for LSU in the BCS CG would really suck.

I am sticking by the "if you have two quarterbacks, you have none" philosophy. It hasn't bitten LSU, until this weekend. Bama's LBs are going to shut down LSU's running game, and if LSU is forced to throw...they lose.

I think that works both ways. I think Lee is better than McCarron.
Because I kind of respect Bama, 31-28 LSU. When really this could be a blowout if McCarron is forced to throw.

I'm thinking it'll be a dogfight, then, late in the 3rd.... the team that's barely down makes a crucial mistake. The game ends with a mushrooming score (31-13) that belies how close the game truly was. But the media will constantly remind us of the need for a sequal in NO.
