How about "Putting in the backup QB for short yardage, not everything is the 'Wildcat', which looks suspiciously like a single-wing anyhow".

I call it desperate because your run blocking is sub par which is ridiculous

I'll eventually get over the tech game but it is really sitting with me wrong and seeing the glazed over looks on the people running the show just makes me mad.

It's not a wildcat because he is the QB and is expected to take the snap on every play. It's simply a called QB run.

Why would we want to name it anything Aggie like which cowbell reminds me of Aggies?

The Tebow - anybody? I'm sure thete is a jump pass coming.

In all seriousness, give Josh and Jay a lot of credit for coming up with something new to help short yardage. I thought it was genius.

This. Nothing like it on film. KSU didn't know what was coming there.

Why not just call it the Wildcat in honor of Blake's first victim using it, the Wildcats? :D

This^

A wildcat formation is when someone other than the QB lines up behind center and takes the snap.

The 5th and 6th grade team I coach runs the sing-wing and we call it the quarterback keeper..there you go..

It was allsome coaching. yet the players still managed to find a way to muck it up. Nonetheless, I hope they keep it. It's gives a defense one more thing to think about in short yardage situmications.
