USC is unranked in the BCS because they're not eligible, but they were 6-1 and ranked #20 in the AP going into today. We won't pass Stanford.

There's a chance we pass Oregon. Washington State was in the game for most of the day, and won't help their SOS like K-State will help ours. Also, since we were behind Arkansas (who played poorly and got lucky to beat Vanderbilt today) in the coaches poll and only 15 points ahead of them in the Harris Poll, there is a good chance that we'll pick up more points in the poll components than Oregon will. So worst case scenario we're 7 and we close the gap with Oregon. Best case scenario we pass Oregon and wind up 6.

Considering how dark things looked last week about this time, that's not bad at all.

A Stanford loss would likely only occur to UO.. Then UO beats ASU in the PAC12CG which would keep UO above us. We needed SC to upset Tree and then Tree to beat one loss UO but lose the PAC12CG to ASU.

USC is only unranked on paper. Before the game Brad Edwards said that all the computers had USC in the top 15
