and he could look strikingly similar to peterson. obviously hes nowhere near the player peterson was at the same point in his career but this kid runs with a similar violence

... to me his running style more resembles Sims than Peterson, he's a glider not a thrasher

We will see how good he is.... Depth is low @ RB. I'm surprised he didn't see more today. Damn, Miller and Calhoun must be kickin theirselves in the but. We may see more Fat Daddy at TB. SEC style run game!

Will need more time and experience to learn when to surge and get through the gaps... lots of potential though and I'm liking what I see so far... outside of that one fumble deep in our territory against Texas.

Yeah. I just don't get excited about guys that what a few good runs. When DeMarco Murray personally turned the first game of the year around at Home last year.....it's performances like that that get me talking about a Back. It's not just how fast a guy is or that he looks like Blah blah blah....it's how he looks when you hand the ball to him all day and he just absolutely wears down a defense.

I do love guys with break away speed too and that can score at any moment but Seasons are long battles and I love guys like Murray was. I really thought Whaley was that guy and he might have been.....but a freak accident today just ended that. I really hope he's able to overcome the injury. Heartbreaking.

Williams definitely looks to have a shot at getting some snaps as we head out from here. I hope he's up for it.

Yup, hope he's ready. I like Clay, but he is just not getting it done in the run game. Coaches only gave him 1 carry today.

This year I wouldn't bet on who is going to start next week. Clay could go for a School record in rushing next week and then never touch the ball until his Senior year....LoL

He would play full time now if he could hold the ball. He has fumbled too many times in games and practice to have the coaches confidence.
