If the bugs get worked out, it could be interesting.

Why is he in on 3rd down? What's the thinking?

We score twice with Landry working the ball. Why get cute in the middle of the field right after they scored? It doesn't make any ****ing sense.

It reeks of desperation.

I don't like it.

Throwing this package in midseason looks weak and our execution of it shows it isn't ready for prime time.

You go with your offense.

Did you miss the middle of the field part of that? I can get behind new looks on the goal line, but again, why get cute in the middle of the field?

We did something similar last year, turned out fine.

it could be lethal.....who cares if it looks wk....arent we the same ppl that complain about us not changing things up defensively midseason. would you be sad if venables ditched the bend dont break bc it would be weak?

Hell, it's not like we've been a threat to score a TD when at the goal line. I say anything different is better than what we've been doing.

What we've been doing in the red zone is failing to execute.

Instead of fixing that we toss in a new package and 2/3 of the time fail to execute it either. Wonderful.

Not a solution.

Fix the execution mistakes of your 1A offense. Problem solved.

I agree. That play turned this game on its head. 3rd and 2 fumble. Punt. K-State scores and off we go in a cat fight now. Poor coaching by Bob Stoops.

Only concern is having a QB rotation thing going... usually too disruptive for the offense... but who knows.

They've been working on that stuff since Bell has been on campus..I'm surprised it took this long to see it on the field.

I loved it. Introducing this formation doesn't reek of desperation, it shows a lot of adaptation. Obviously Stoops understands our struggles, he is willing to adapt, even midseason, to be more productive. A coach that never stops improving his team? That's a winner.

AND, it gives a young QB some meaningful snaps in a real game. Not a sign of desperation at all.

How'd that game turn out chief?

Tim Tebow is proud of Heupel's sprint option.

Bull****.

We weren't in a "cat fight" in this game. We dominated. And the defense has a responsibility to STOP K-state...which they did, until a third and long run. It was the defense that gave up the momentum, not the fact we had to punt.

We put the diamond formation in mid season last year, I thought it was a lot like Tebow's first year at Florida where they brought him in for a change of pace inside the 10 yard line. If it works great, but BB's got to hold on to the ball.

Florida was pretty desperate when they had Chris Leake and they used that big, thick backup to come in during certain situations..especially within 5 yards of the endzone..can't remember that kid's name

The jury's still out for me but I'm leaning to liking it.

If Bell can hold onto the ball or make the handoff, there's potential.

The guy is big and can drag a defender forward a yard or two.

Please, Josh. Just no jump passes over the middle.

Kudos to the coaches for making some changes.

I like getting a backup some meaningful snaps.

Didn't like the fact that they let BB throw it on third and short today, just because of the timing. I think they should let him throw on 2nd and short OR 3rd and short IF we're planning on going for it on 4th down. Just think it was a wasted opportunity when we could have easily gotten the first down.

The package overall looked ****ing great today. Solves a lot of issues we had with our offense. Pretty good implementation.
