The complete opposite of Lindsey Lohan

While looking for the dumb photo of Lindsey Lohan I posted in the other thread, I saw this picture of another young woman, but no caption. She had such a fresh, wholesome American face, I clicked on it to see why she was in the news. Unfortunately, she was killed in Afghanistan, along with two other soldiers, by an IED.

There was just something about that dichotomy of the two young women that struck me. One famous, and throwing it away; the other, so promising, and now gone.

This is 1st Lt. Ashley White, National Guard.

Poor girl. We can't know every soldier that pays the ultimate price, but we should all take a few moments and learn about at least a few of them like this young lady.
