There is no excuse. If you are not an elite team, no matter how the media and homer fans build you up to be, you will lose. I'm also tired of excuses, but a Championship team does not lose to a team they are favored by -29 points. We have a good team this year, but definitely not title worthy. Tech is the first team we've played with a good passing offense. If our secondary doesn't get fixed, we will have another 1-2 losses by seasons end.

I know the routine. Anyone dare to point out deficiencies is either stupid, a noob, insane, or all of the above. lol I was amazed at the flack I received after stating during the Mizzou game we were not going to win out. You would've thought I'd slapped their wives on the *** or something. People just need to deal with the fact that this team, while very good, is not the elite team they were built up to be by the media. Of course, if it makes everyone feel warm and fuzzy inside by making excuses, then by all means go ahead.

LMAO! I'd never take him seriously. Between him and Dean, I'm not sure who's given me more red. I just saw the thread title and figured I'd throw in my opinion (which is meaningless) about others making lame excuses. There are no excuses, we were just one of many who were overrated this year. :)
