Following our national championship in 2000, I remember Stoops complaining a lot about how "unfair" it was that the Big XII champ had to play in a conference championship game, while most other conference champions did not.
Strikes me as ironic nowadays, with every other major conference playing a championship game, but the Big XII going without.
I haven't seen him discuss this recently. Does he now see this as an advantage? Anyone have anythoughts to share?
