I've been going to OU football games off and on since 1996. Over that time even including the Blake years OU has won over 75% of the time. So far I'm 50/50 and it has only been getting worse:

7-Sep-96 TCU Norman L 7-20
12-Oct-96 Texas Dallas W 30-27
2-Nov-96 Nebraska Norman L 21-73
18-Oct-03 Missouri Norman W 34-13
18-Sep-04 Oregon Norman W 31-7
4-Dec-04 Colorado Kansas City W 42-3
17-Sep-05 UCLA Pasadena L 24-41
1-Sep-07 North Texas Norman W 79-10
8-Sep-07 Miami (FL) Norman W 51-13
29-Sep-07 Colorado Boulder L 24-27
2-Jan-08 West Virginia Tempe L 28-48
22-Oct-11 Texas Tech Norman L 38-41

Should I just watch from home?

All the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

OSU, TCU, and now Tech at home
RRS 06, 08, 09 (The only ones I've been too)
at Tech 07 and 09
at Mizzou 10
at Big 12 KSU 03
at NCG USC
at Fiesta BSU and WVU
at NCG Florida

Also been to a lot of good wins too though. Been to 5 of the 7 Big 12 championships, that makes up for the ****ty games.

Ugh. Well, we're 1-6 in OU/TX games I've attended if that makes you feel any better. Luckily the last one was a win so I finally believe it's possible for us to beat Texas in my presence.

You know who has worse records than you?

Fans of other teams :D

Look at all the winning you've witnessed instead of the losing. You'll be happier! :)

I'm 0-3 in NC games and I swore I wouldn't go back if and when OU made another. I'm bad luck when it comes to them. I've only witnessed 3 non NC game Stoops losses. TCU, BYU, and KState 2003.

For a flukey personal record against TX - when I was a kid, my family went to the 1976 RRS, where we tied 6-6 after missing an extra point.

I didn't make it back to the RRS until I was an OU freshman marching in the band in 1984 -- where we tied again (although that was a rip off).

So I was personally 0-0-2 in the Cotton Bowl.

As my parents took me to the Coliseum to see OU play USC in 1973, a game which also ended in a draw, the first three games I saw outside the state of Oklahoma were all ties.

I don't have as many games under my belt recently, but my last 3 post season games tells you enough:

99 Independence Bowl L 27-25 to Ole Miss
07 Fiesta Bowl L 43-42 to Boise
08 Fiesta Bowl L 48-28 to WVU

The last time I got to see a game at home, was against TCU in 05 (the last home loss previous to last Saturday).

I did get to break up a couple of those losses with wins at Air Force and Colorado.

I'm probably not going to a bowl game anytime soon.
