I'm 99.99 % joking obviously but seems odd that the first time Mike steps onto the OU sidelines since he left we have one of the worst games under Bob ever. Dude has a black cloud hanging over him that exploded into thunderstorms and washed away OU's title hopes.

Never underestimate the power of a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

They probably bred some super peanut down in Lubbock.

lol...my friend said that last night... "The last time Mike Stoops was on the sideline watching the game we lost to LSU."

LOL, I thought the same thing. Mike took the money and ran to Arizona distracting the team and costing us #8 in 2003. He stunk up the joint in Arizona (1 week post Mike AZ whips UCLA 42-7 by halftime). Lil Bro Mike is a curse. We needed you in 2003. Go away.

i blame the guy on the pregame show on channel 5. he said we didn't need to worry about the win, just how much we'd beat them by.

Think about this...the last THREE times Mike was on the OU sideline, whether coach or spectator....we lost. Hmmmm ;)

Oh good, I'll have to find another completely illogical reason to blame for OU's sleep walking through the Taco Tech game.

Oh good, I'll have to find another completely illogical reason to blame for OU's sleep walking through the Taco Tech game.I think it's mostly due to a sense of invincibility on the part of the players. I hope the loss shattered that mindset. It's a coaching problem, mostly, IMHO.

I put equal blame on the players and coaches, but it does seem to be something that bites this team every year regardless of who the players are. As dumb as Skip Bayless sounded calling to fire Bob, he does bring up some valid points about this coaching staff having problems with motivating the players week to week.

Rush already mentioned that. I have since moved on and now blame the remains of Doomsday Comet Elenin.

Nothing to worry about, time to blame something else....

Y'all don't be superstitious.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.
