Not a bad spot. Best case scenario would be to get back into the top 5 before the OSU game.

I'm not too excited about the Fiesta Bowl, i.e., if we even make it. I don't even think we'll beat K-State if we don't have a couple of the injured defensive starters return.

The last two weeks have showed me that this team is capable of being quite average when they want to be.

I was expecting about 12th. Not that it matters between 9th and 12th, really. All that matters is we'll be watching the championship game from home.

No way man. I want to load up on those hideous trophies.

A lot would have to happen for us to get back in the national title race. Even if we did, we still couldn't compete with LSU or Alabama.

Stanford is the last best hope to stop the SEC run on National Championships. It will take a Luck-like QB to be able to pull it off. I just don't see OSU, Boise St, or Clemson being able to get it done.

Go Cardinal!!!

I'm amazed that Stanford took our spot and not OSU. There will be a bunch of pokes that were toasting our defeat that will soon be crying in their beer if the BCS follows this order. They controlled their destiny if they could beat us before last night, now they have to hope someone else loses. But Stanford still has to get by USC on the road and the Ducks as well as the new CCG, so their odds are still good (if the Pokes can win out, that is).

I'm so excited for another Fiesta Bowl against the mighty Big east champ. Let's hope it's WV.

LSU could lose twice, to Arky and Alabama. Either Alabama or LSU (likely the latter) will lose at least once. We can beat two of the undefeated teams in the top 12. Stanford still has Oregon and a championship game, as well as ND and SC. We could easily move back into the top three or four if we get our **** together.

This is funny. I thought it would be like around 15. The title hopes really aren't gone.
