I've started a one-woman push to try to get Mike Stoops to come coach at UNM....hopefully that will keep him off the OU sidelines!

Maybe Venables "overcoached" the D in an attempt to impress the former BCS Championship winning DC. I miss the days of our D showing up to games foaming at the mouth and ready to tear heads off. Venables is definitely no slouch as a DC, but it was nice to see our D come out in a pissed off mood to start just about every game they played in. Of course, it also could have been the kids we had at the time, and not necessarily the coaching they received.
