Strange. I figure he might have wore #12 in a bigger game.

I'm sure wearing #12 is an honor no matter what game it is...

I'm curious is it's gonna rotate back around to T.Lewis for Bedlam

Meh, they only have 13 chances for this, might as well let 13 different guys have the honor.

However there are only 11 starters.. I guess you could let non starters get the chance

There have been different people starting throughout the year, so I'm sure they can find someone new.

I'm sure there were plenty of guys on offense that would have liked to have worn his numbers but with Landry being #12 it really left if to just a few guys on D to honor him and really...I bet every guy on the Team would probably do it if given the chance.

I still can't believe he's gone. It's amazing that in all these years I've watched OU Football....I've forgotten guys that I never thought I would ever forget. However when you lose a guy like Austin early like we did...it really changes the way I feel about his time as a Sooner. I hope I never ever forget him. He was really special to me. This entire Team is going to be something special I think. I just have a feeling about it. I hope I'm right.

Rest In Peace Austin and God Bless the Box Family.
