In the pregame, they mentioned the interim coach was installing some new defenses. That sounds like there was some disagreement with Stoops before and now the new guy gets his way.

Of course it's the Zona offense that is kicking butt and I don't think Stoops was putting a leash on Littrell in the past. The other comment I heard in pregame was that the players said there was a more relaxed atmosphere in practice and they expected to play loose. But that's generic stuff players typically say when facing a change like this. Maybe this game just reflects how bad UCLA is an Arizona has just been hit by a tough schedule before (expect for the Beavers).

That was a Friday game, so all of the Thursday games have sucked. Then again, they've all been Pac-12, Big East, or ACC games, and those conferences are not great this season.
