Outside of lsu and bama, every sec team is terrible this year. I don't think any east teams even have a qb. Brantly, bray and Garcia are out and the other 3 suck.
It's been a top heavy league for a while. 2 SEC coaches count for 4 national championships, and one of those two coaches recruited the whole team for another NC won by another coach, so one could say 2 coaches account for 5 MNC

Only quality teams in the entire SEC seem to be Bama and LSU...Arky and SC are ok but the others are questionable at best...

Florida is just awful. I'm kinda surprised, kinda not. It's just weird that they go from the team that beat us in 08, an effin dang good team, to, well...now. They tout their championships from the 90's somethin' fierce down, here. They are trying so hard to build a rep as a school of dynasties, like an OU or Bama, and I think if Meyer had stayed they might have had a chance at that, but when he bailed, they were screwed. Huge misstep in hiring 'Boom', imo. IDK, it just seemed like so much was going right for them for so long, don't forget the '06 MNC as well, and now, they can't BUY a win, much less a ranking. They want so much to be an elite school, they seem to have a lot of positives to recruit to, but right now they are just lost. We'll see how ole 'Boom' plays out, they need a QB, I'm unimpressed with Weis as an OC...lots of variables. It's just really weird, it'd almost be like if Bob had left in 2002 or so, except OU has the history that UF so desires. We'll see how it plays out, I s'pose. Can't say I'll be cheerin' for 'em. :biggrin:
