Predictably, Gov. Perry's debate performance was atrocious. Can we say 'Adios mofo!' to his campaign yet? At a regional debate tournament years ago, I had an opponent who could barely read his case. Hehad no clue what he was doing and was way way way out of his league. He broke down in near tears halfway through the round and told the judge, "I just can't do this" and he quit. That kid was a better debater than Rick Perry.

He was caught in a blatant lie.

So you're a master debater?

So you're a master debater?
Nope. I'm a state champion master debater. ;)

Debaters do it orally.

Debaters can do it in 16 minutes with 3 minutes prep time.

(I've heard them all)

It was on the Bloomberg network which I don't get, so I watched it streamed live.

Wow. After the debate, Perry is quoted as saying the following:

Reason we fought the revolution in the 16th century was to get away from that kind of onerous crown

What a maroon.

I'll hitch my wagon to the Herman Cain train at this point. Can't stand Romney and Huntsman, Perry is showing his milkman routine, if it is beyond his cheer, he's got nothing. Bachmann is dead in this race and Paul is just nutty, maybe a good one, but he is way out there...

I heard that Cain belonged to some crazy cult that doesn't believe in dancing. I'll pass on that shade of crazy. No thanks! ;)

I like Perry. He has a college degree.

Wasn't Cain a federal reserve employee? Uh, no thanks.

He worked on ballistics for the Navy... That scores a couple of cool points for me.

Seeing him speak publicly in these embarrassing debates is finally helping me understand why Aggie would hate one of their own sooooo much. That cult usually lock-steps in favor of all things A&M, but for some reason they didn't like their ex-Yell Leader. Starting to see why. :rcmad:
