For me it would have to be easily top 5 and easily #1 of all the Red River games. This was a total team effort, no cockiness, no arrogance; just straight up taking care of business. This team has heart. This team still has some weaknesses but each game they keep getting less and less. So far this has been a fun season and it's just great to see OU defending their #1 ranking since having it from the beginning.

1. OU over Nebraska, 2000
2. OU over Texas, 2011
3. OU over Texas Tech, 2008
4. OU over Texas, 2001
5. OU over Missouri, 2007 (CCG)

It would be in my top 10 but not top 5. What I saw in the Orange Bowl is what I saw in the win over Nebraska. Only difference was OU trailed but after being down 14, they came back and never let NU score again. That was Sooner Magic at its finest and it solidified OU as officially being back en route to a national title. I'll take a foundation win because it starts there. OU's win over FSU cemented their return to the elite status they once were.

I'm not sure it is in my TOP 10. * is very young, highly overrated at #11, and breaking in two new coordinators. We should have hung 50 on them . . . and we did.

For me, this game is behind the 2000 FSU game, 2000 Nebraska, 2000 UT, 2000 KSU 1.0 and 2000 KSU 2.0. I'm not sure which one would be next from this group: 2011 UT, 2003 UT, 2008 TT, 2010 Nebraska.

Always have to put 2000 KSU, UT, FSU and NU games in there. Supposed to lose all of them, and didnt'.

I don't remember laughing with glee as much as I did Saturday.

I think the defensive scores were just so entertaining and so definitely said, "Texas, you suck"

This last saturday's beating didn't mean as much because this was a bad texas team...the 12-0 win was more enjoyable than this one..

Not sure it'd make my top 10. I think 1999 A&M is above 2011 UT.

Everyone I know was picking OU to cover this game and most had OU scoring in the 40's and fezax under 20.

IMO...the thing that makes this one a big game is if we stay on track and win out. Then it's significance is higher but not because it wasn't expected that OU would beat fezax. OU Fans were expecting OU to take them apart this year. Yeah it's a rivalry Game but take that out of it and look at the Teams and the Schedules they have played so far....OU should have been a bid winner. It's just not Top Ten for me. We have one of the best Teams in the Nation right now. We should expect them to play well and win every week from here on out IMHO. Anything less than an undefeated season will be a let down for OU Fans this year. I just don't think we've had this good of a Team ever. We've had Teams with great players that made us very good.....but this is the best Stoops Team since he's been at OU.

1. OU 51, Miami 13, 2007
2. OU 13, Florida State 2, 2000/Bowl
3. OU 14, Texas 3, 2001
4. OU 37, Alabama 27, 2002
5. OU 65, Texas 13, 2003
6. OU 60, Texas Tech 15, 2002
7. OU 34, Washington State 14, 2002/Bowl
8. OU 63, Texas 14, 2000
9. OU 35, Texas A&M 31, 2000
10. OU 52, Oklahoma State 9, 2003

It doesn't really fit into my Top 10 because we were supposed to beat them. In my Top 10 are games where the opponent was either overhyped, favored, or supposedly equal to us leading up to the game.

For those of us that grew up in the 70s and 80s, nothing will ever top kicking the sh*t out of Miami in Norman back in 2007. It was like celebrating 1,000 Christmases all in one afternoon!

The loudest wins were easily the 2002 Texas Tech and 2003 Oklahoma State games. The 2003 Oklahoma State game was 80000+ Sooner fans letting out the frustration of a two year losing streak to the Pokes.

Nebraska 2000
FSU 2000
Texas 2000
KState 2000
Texas 2003
TTech 2008
Miami 2007
Ok State 2003 (really only because of Lester running his mouth)
Mizzu 2007 Big XII game (again because of Chase running his mouth)
Tex AM 2003 (DAMN!!!)
Texas 2004 (Shutout)

This one probably won't be in my top 10 because leading up to gametime I had a feeling it would get ugly. No way did I expect '00 and '03 to get the way they did. That was shocking to me. Nebraska is #1 because they were #1 and it signaled that OU was in fact for real and back to being a contender. Going into all three of those Red October games I kept saying "this is the game where OU falls and will come back down to reality". That was such a magical year.

55-17 is down the list a way. We were expected to win, a fair number of people even predicted a blow out.

If we didn't give up the 2 junk TDs and won 55-3 or better yet converted on the two opening drives and won 63-3 I would have rated 2011 higher.

Nothing has topped 13-2, 63-14, and 31-14 from the 2000 season. We were not expected to win any of those games. Not only did we win but we dominated. The OU monster was re-born after a decade of Gibbs, Drunkenburger, and Blake.
