The further along this season goes, the more it feels like the Missouri game this year resembles the Kansas game in 2000. A game where we showed up flat, had to get ourselves ready and used the performance as a building block to show up ready each and every week. Who would think that FSU and Texas would play second fiddle to a home game against an underachieving team, but internally, I think the gut check we gave ourselves is showing signs of being a critical turning point in the season. I think the lessons learned vs. Missouri will have us ready each and every week and teach us to practice like you play.
