Player development is , "Still under development."

Young Texas team? Hmmm.

Number of Texas players on two deep that are fr/so? 19
Number of Okla. players on two deep that are fr/so? 18

Attention recruits: Oklahoma has a superior football program.

Do players pro prospects improve with Texas? Not many. The only one I can think of that benefited from his UT time was Colt. Everyone else started as a big time hotshot prospect that either gained no ground (many) or regressed (OMGKASEYSTUDDARD) severely (Chrissy)

They dropped that program and got them an ESPIN network. It's much better to have people broadcasting how good you are, rather than actuslly being good. And, it gives the players more time to enjoy the pleasures of 6th street.

"So call your local cable or satellite provider and ask for the LHN, so you can watch these players develop in practice..."

sql> SELECT * FROM recruits WHERE freshman_year > 2006 AND improvement > 0.001;

sql> SQL returned an empty result set (i.e. zero rows).

It's coaching.

Texas lands the top talent in state every year. I'll be the first to say that the recruiting services are inconsistent (at best), but there's no way texas got fooled on every prospect that came through. They've just sucked at player development.

How does a team win a national title and fall so far within 5 years?
