One was bad play, the second was because of the takedown of the player that would have likely made the stop

No **** that noise... it is a huge part of the game and when you give up 2 100 yarders in 1 game I can bitch and so can other fans... We're talking college football where they get schollies and coaches make big bucks to execute special teams.

It gave us a chance to execute a 2 minute offense before half and ram it down their 'effin throats. Otherwise, we don't get the ball again.

thats exactly it.. haha.. Thats why it was so bad in 08 with bradford. We scored to many points a game it gave teams many times to make kick off TDs.

I kind of saw a long return coming after that pick six. We have a lot of defensive starters on the kickoff return team, they were tired. It's no excuse to get out of your lanes though.

I would think the Special Teams play is an important part of the game?

We need a punt and kickoff returner to step up too. I don't really like broyles back there. It looks like he's not interested and I don't blame him.

The kicking game itself was outstanding today, outside of the kick that was out of bounds. The kickoffs were all just in the EZ or inside the 5 and very high, and there were a lot of them. Kick coverage was another matter. Like somebody said though, the D was gassed. Texas had the ball a lot longer than we did due to the turnovers and turnover TDs.

Yeah, I've gone into every game for the past 2-3 years expecting at least one. Some weeks I'm pleasantly surprised. It makes it easier to take.
