It is (was) 11:02am and I am still circling the DAMN stadium trying to find a parking spot. Just about every lot required a special pass and lot 15, the cash lot had the gates shut closed. Just another reason to hate Texas.

Don't park at the fair, park in the ghetto neighborhood next to the fair. Much quicker in and out. I found a church with a gated lot with a person watching it 10 min walk from the fair gate last time I went.

Oh, believe me, I was. I did circle past the 'ghetto' lots more than once and didn't trust it. They finally opened gate 9 (I think it was) later.

FYI - To the other dummies (besides me), don't take I-35 South to turn off on I-30 east bound if going to the game next season. Even doing that, I could see the Cotton Bowl itself at 10:50am.
