Jeez, if this is all marijuana related, he should just move. It is practically legal out here in CA.

Saw Jamelle Saturday at the Game with his family. He was really nice and signing autographs for anyone who asked.

I sure think folks ought to think a bit before throwing out comments as his kids are the ones who will suffer from them.

The guy I saw Saturday was a huge Sooner Fan and rooting our Team on while holding his son in his lap.

I hope he gets things worked out.

Look at that guy in the middle in some kind of trance. Is he hypnotized by the OU Baton twirler?

I think he's the guy who tried to start a cripple fight before the game.

Jamelle Holieway is one of my all time favorite Sooners. And he was the best option QB ever..(before he got hurt) Tommy Frazier would run a close second.

Why does he have a US Marshal hold? That doesn't seem normal.

He has his demons. I was at a Hooters about 10 years ago. I noticed him, when he walked in. He minded his business, but there happened to be a little league baseball team there. The coach, or one of the players noticed him, and walked up a got a photo with him. Soon after, he was taking photos with all of them. He was very gracious, and was having a good time.

Wonder if he carries his weed in his purse still. :)

JH is a nice guy and a fellow SOONER, no one should throw a stone unless you are sure your glass house wont break. Being a 20 + yr. LE Professional, I am a firm believer that good people make mistakes. FYI: a US Marshal Hold relates to federal wants or warrants.
I wish him the best.

Little League baseball team at hooters? That's just wrong or funny, not sure.

I hate to see this happen to such a great guy.

If you didn't see the article, it sounds like he just forgot to take care of some outstanding stuff from 2010 and even back through 2007, so the police were finally like "guy's never showing up unless we force him to."

Hopefully this will be the end of whatever he had going on before.

One of my earliest OU memories was of this man. Big fan of the player.

I've still got a Holieway jersey and I have no plans to get rid of it. The memories I have about the team and that era don't have anything to do with what's going on in his life now.

I wish him the best and hope everything is straight at this point.

Heh, I play in an NCAA Football 12 online dynasty with some buddies, and one if them has a quarterback named Leroy Holt, #4.
