Go easy on her, folks. Think of the good Sooner family back home mourning the loss of a loved one and praying for her safe return. Young people don't always make the best decisions and often mature out of these "phases".

I think the implication was that these were her old OU shirts, from her days as a Sooner fan, and that she was destroying them because they were no longer appropriate for her to wear. Since she needed to get rid of them, she decided to have a little fun and get a little attention by destroying them this way on the internet.

That's not unusual in Austin. She needed something to make her stand out from the crowd.
However, I do think the personal insults are going a tad bit too far. Yes, I'm being a wet blanket because y'all are just trying to have fun but still no need to call her a slut, whore, or especially the c-word.

Normally I would agree but when you beg for attention like she did in the video then you pretty much have to take the positive with the negative.
Plus its a little disturbing that she has so little regard for the feelings of her family. As another poster said I guess it can be assumed she is on scholarship. It also can be assumed that she probably had a an older, better looking sister that was the favorite of her family.

Mine had a somewhat similar policy. I was told I could go anywhere I wanted with my parents paying for everything both school and non-school related. The only exception was OU. I was told in no uncertain terms that if I went to OU then I was on my own from that point on. They would not support the University of Oklahoma or Norman with one single red cent of their money and that was final. If not for that, I may have gone to OU.

Never trust a horn. I don't believe for a second that kid is from Oklahoma. Just more horn propaganda. I've never known anyone in my lifetime that was a Sooners fan that went over to the dark side. If she really is an Oklahoma girl, her Dad & Mom need to go get her and lock her in the basement. Waterboard that kid until she get's that horn crap out of her head. Trust me, that is a Texas kid that's been drinking the orange kool-aid all her life. Anyone can lie, horns are good at it.

I guess there are no homeless shelters, women's shelters or such in Austin which could have used those shirts.
My parents were raised during the depression and would have cut off any financial assistance to me for wasting good usable clothing in that fashion, regardless of the school affiliation depicted thereon.

OK guys and gals, this is simple: See this girl suffers from a rare condition of UTTER-MCCONOHEE-TEXUS-SUX-IDES; please do not get close to her for there is NO CURE! I don't understand this attitude. It's like your dad cheated on your mom with OU or something. What did OU do to them to have this much hatred? A football rivalry? Kind of silly if you ask me. I don't like the athletic department at UT because of my love for OU but I wouldn't disallow my kids from attending the university...or playing on one of their athletic teams if lucky enough...if it's what they wanted to do and it would enhance their futures.

My Dad really encouraged me to go to OSU and thought that OU was the "drug school". So of course I went to OU - and I was on my own either way. Never did find those drugs though.

Good point...I redact my above post. If either of my kids tell me the week of OU/Tex that they were accepted and are going to UT I will tell them to F-Off and powerbomb them off the couch. Then on Monday I will tell them I'm proud of them and they can go wherever they want.
