She seems to be enjoying the publicity wave that the veep nomination brought in 2008 and I'm not sure it'd be as enjoyable if she were to pursue presidency in 2012... especially since she wasn't going to win anyway.

So, a good decision for her and for the Republican nomination process.

I think it's about time for the GOP to get behind the dull but competent and intelligent Romney and quit flirting with their exciting but flaky batch of weirdos (of which there is now one less).
So says David Brooks, sort-of, and he has a point.

It is a sign of the apocalypse that this was considered news.

Normally when unqualified dolts 'announce' their abstention from a political race, major news orgs don't play it up.
