I feel like there was a thread about this a little bit ago, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

But, since it's not October, what are some of your favorite Octoberfest beers?

This is a classic, though probably not the best.

Sam Adams is very good. One of my favorites at an actual Oktoberfest event is Warsteiner Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest and Bock are about the only lagers I still buy and drink on occasion. Seldom have I found a brew of either style to be anything but good (No, Shiner Bock does not count as a Bock).

The Munich Oktoberfest beers are all very good. I've had gallons of Spaten and Paulaner over the years on tap at the Addison Oktoberfest. Flying Dog out of Colorado has a great Oktoberfest but I don't see it much. Sam Adams won me over last year with their version. I had to have S.A. a few times before it grew on me last year.

Well, that makes more sense.

I don't know what makes an Oktoberfest style beir, but I seem to like all of them.

I'm pretty excited about Oktoberfest this year. I'm going to try and sample everything on the menu sans domestics.

My favorites are Ayinger and Wiehenstephaner, then Paulaner, Spaten, and Sam Adams.

Well, I mean, other than the one I make. :)
