Nila led the Sooners in the Haka at midfield vs. the shorthorns?? I know it's not necessarily an OU tradition but this team is a tight knit group and I think it would be a show of camaraderie and strength. Just a thought.

As cool as it would be, I wouldn't appreciate the 15 yard penalty that would accompany this act.

i don't know why people think it's so cool. Must be a male thing.

I don't think it would be cool at all.

Not as awesome as sending Jimmy Stevens over to the Texas side of the field and bitchslapping Jackson Jeffcoat and saying "Yeah, that's right.".

It's okay when it's your cultural thing, like the New Zealand All Blacks. Not so much when it has zippo to do with any tradition that OU could lay claim to.

Maybe we could reenact the burning of a Texas farm and the slaughtering of its inhabitants. That would be in accord with our Comanche heritage AND would be entertaining as hell.

I could live without it.

Only cool if Hawaii does it.

This. It might have been cool 5 or 10 years ago. Definitely not anymore.

By the way, I do think it's awesome that Nila did it at practice. But not in the Cotton Bowl.

Yeah, but are "Sooners" represented by the Comanches, or by the farmers?
