They may reign her in but I am surprised the NFL chose someone who has done such controversial videos over the years.

The Stones are so old its creepy, but still can pull it off. Madonna-not nearly as old, but just not interesting. Maybe its sexist, but women don't age well in Rock n Roll.
I'm sure it has something to do with sex, anyway. How about Grace Slick?

sponsored by AARP, no doubt

i hear she is going to simulate sex with a burning cross onstage. or maybe it's with a black Jesus.

there will probably be dogs and water bottles involved somehow

or maybe she will just kiss Britney again

They tried a younger act, it bombed, so we're going back to the AARP crowd so quickly?

I don't know why I pretend to care, because I couldn't care less. Half-time entertainment is useless, and Super Bowl half-time is extra useless because it's way too long. It's just another example of the world gone mad for senseless amusement, noise, glitz, glam, inanity, frivolity, and general horse crap.

And stay off my lawn!!

I agree 100%. I didn't even see the infamous wardrobe malfunction a few years ago because I never watch halftime shows.

I will say that as bad as the Super Bowl halftime shows usually are, they still don't match the Orange Bowl halftimes from back in the day when they would have such hip performers as the Serendipity Singers. Yeah, boy!

I have to admit, I went to see the U2 show in Norman, and I was pissed we got stuck with the Black Eyed Peas instead of Muse. But you know what?

The Black Eyed Peas put on a ****ing good show.

I'd be pissed I got stuck with U2 instead of Muse...

Madonna sucks - no secret there - but why does the NFL pretend that there was no music produced after 1990?

I'm a has-been for sure, but when you try and put together somethin produced after 1990 that both sounds good, and had widespread mass appeal, it gets much harder. Then trying pick something out of that small pile that is fit to show on prime-time worldwide live TV and your work is really cut out.

Best two half time shows in the last, eh, I don't know, long time are:

1. Tom Petty
2. Stones
