I appreciate that we are on TV. Hopefully the late start doesn't adversely affect the team's performance.

As a fan with two kids under 3, I rejoice! Kids will be in bed (knocks on wood) and I can watch an entire game, without watching the 1st half on the DVR for the first time in a few years!

Hopefully there won't be a lightening storm pushing the kickoff back to midnight.

For all those who were pleased we didn't go the the PAC 12 because we wouldn't have super late games what have you to say now?

The truth is all of college football is beholden to the frigging TV $$$ and if they tell us to play at 2AM or 9AM we'd say OK.

That's the way it is.

I think this is for all the Kansas people to be able to say that they stayed up late on a Saturday night instead of being in bed at the usual time... O wait, I forgot the conclusion on here seems to be Lawrence is the 'Austin' of the north. ;)

If the stars are aligned correctly, I should be on a plane coming home for leave at this time, otherwise I will be up at 4 am in the morning here to watch another late OU game. But it is worth it.

Oh wait.

See, what would it matter if we went west or not? This is the main start time for all night games in the PAC, there is one time slot that starts at 10 PM CST, but that is always a game that would draw some Regional interest but not national interest.

Also, a lot of the games in the PAC are around 2-4 PM here.
