It will start at least two hours late, consist of about 4 or 5 songs and then they will leave. It ain't the same without Slash!

i've seen axl suck once already 20 years ago, why pay for it now? at least maybe he won't wear the spandex biker shorts this time....at 40 whatever.

i never thought i would say this, but Skid Row kicked G'N'R off the stage.....two hours later.

anyone familiar with the duration of this SO will know my opinion on hair metal.

So you think they'll get on the bus around 11, sip a drink and feel fine?

he don't worry about nothing, because worrying is a waste of his time.

it's really just Bo Diddley beat that has the proto Paradise City change in it (really, i just heard that now...check it). prolly my fave from them, though. minus the lame "yowza" thing at the end. groan.

i'd rather chew off my own face than listen to Use Your Illusion. November Rain=crap. maybe Izzy Stradlin was the genius. his solo LP was pretty good. Juju Hounds. you hear a lot of exile and keith on that one. shuffle it all.

GNR, Metallica, and Faith No More back in 92 still is one of the all time great tours, even if Metallica had already sold out with the black album.

Got my tickets. Don't care if it's only a fraction of the original band, it's still the best band of the '90's.

For those wondering if this show would be worth seeing...well, here's a hint:

Axl Rose isn't looking anything like the lithe rock star he was at the height of his fame. When Guns N' Roses played at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil this week, the 49-year-old sole original member cut a figure that was a far cry from the lean and mean body that made him a hard rock pin-up in the late '80s.

Garbed in a bulging yellow raincoat, Rose obscured his puffy face with sunglasses and a black hat. In response to an inquiry about his apparent weight gain, a rep for Rose said: "You are the first to mention this. If anything, it might be his time off from touring."

After coming onstage two hours late, the tardy Rose voiced his concerns to the audience about prancing around a rain-soaked stage, thereby excusing himself from too much physical exertion. "I'm going to try to focus on singing rather than running around like an idiot. I'm better at being an idiot. We want everybody to be careful." Contrary to his stated goal, Rose struggled to keep time with his backing band even more than he struggled to move around the stage. Although the singer treated fans to a variety of G 'N R classics, a lot of fans left the concert likely feeling stymied, having waited two hours in the rain just to watch Axl Rose turn in a slovenly performance.

i saw GNR at McNichols in Denver. one of the worst shows i've ever seen. they were awful, and two hours late. Skid Row was much better.

Read some reviews from their shows last week. First of all, they were late coming to the stage, as is to be expected. Started after midnight in Miami.

That said, evidently the people who stuck around saw three hours worth of music, new and old, and they were better than ever. I now can't wait for the concert on Wednesday!

Sold it to a scalper after none of my friends would take it for free. $$$.

They are like 30 minutes late opening the doors and they charge to park at LNC? Lame.

The show was a lot of fun. I think Axl was on pacific time. They played over 3 hours and it was like 2am before they were done

Jesse Jane was in line in front of me

Funny. She walked by us and I said to my wife, "That's one of the three local porn stars!" Don't think my wife was impressed.

Great show, actually! I had pretty low expectations, but Axl looks like he's lost 40 lbs., was on key the whole time and put on a good show. The rest of the band is really freaking good. It was worth the delay for sure.

I saw them in Houston last Friday. The doors to the Toyota Center opened 15 minutes late. Buckcherry opened for them and was TERRIBLE! As for GNR, they took the stage at 10:30pm and played for three hours solid and didn't end until 1:30am! GNR was awesome though. Played old and new songs and Axl may not look the same, but is still really good. I really enjoyed it a lot.

Man, I knew I should have went. Review in the paper was pretty favorable for Ax.

I bought the last GNR cd and thought it was terrible. Loved their 80s stuff and UYI 1 and 2.

I'll catch em next regional venue
